Everybody knows, that trade, unlike manufacture, does not create material goods. Trade is an intermediary between the manufacturer and the consumer, it delivers goods to buyers and returns the assets to the industrial enterprise. As the intermediary, it passes through itself financial and goods streams, having certain interest for such services.
The enterprise that provides services, doesn’t need intermediaries and consequently works directly with the consumer. Let’s look at how a trading enterprise functions and what role the management software designed with Business Engine will have.
Business Engine is based on the client - operation - goods scheme. Clients, cooperating among themselves, initiate the beginning of operations which lead to movement of goods and money or just money. Each operation consists of several suboperations (transactions) which have their set and sequence (e.g. goods receiving, money transfer, goods shipment, lot exhibiting etc). In its turn each transaction initiates money transfer through accounts and goods transfer through warehouses. In economic relationship each client has one or several roles which allow him to realize various kinds of operations. In our model we have four roles (the buyer, the seller, the financial intermediary or payment system, goods intermediary or post service). Each client can open accounts or found warehouses at any other client if they have a corresponding role. Also the client has one account and one warehouse by default so that he could pay in cash and transfer goods from hand to hand. You can see that at the picture below.
An account is opened in different types of currency. Business Engine has all leading types of currencies. Also you can set any other currency if you need. If you want to transfer money from one account to another, it should be of one type or you have to use an intermediary which has the necessary type. The same is true for operations with warehouses.
